When to take a break

If you’re like me, you’ve always thought that the best time to take a break is in the afternoon, some time after lunch. According to this article (link to: lifehacker.com), though, the best time for a break might be in the middle of the morning.

As the writer says, it might be better to take a break “before you’ve used up your mental resources in order to refresh and actually recuperate some of those resources”.

Well, the only way to find out if it works for us is to give it a try, isn’t it? 🙂

HammockWe know that it’s important to take breaks now and again, and that it can help us become more productive. However, it’s not always easy to take a break when we are feeling really busy. So perhaps it can help us if we have a method to follow.

The article I found on fast company.com explains four methods, which you might like to try out. My favourite is the Pomodoro method, and it really works!
