A little bit of humour
“There was an old man from Peru,
Who dreamt he was eating his shoe.
He awoke in a fright
In the middle of the night
And found it was perfectly true.”

Did you know that a limerick is a humorous poem with five lines?
The first, second and fifth lines generally have seven to ten syllables and rhyme with each other. The third and fourth lines are shorter and only have five to seven syllables and have to rhyme with each other, too.
Here’s an example:
“There once was a farmer from Leeds,
Who swallowed a packet of seeds.
It soon came to pass,
He was covered with grass,
But has all the tomatoes he needs.”
