Help with punctuation

A great infographic (link to: the visualcommunicationguy.com) showing you the 15 punctuation marks in order of difficulty, with short explanations where they are used. Why not print it out and keep it near your computer to use as a reference when writing email messages and reports?

Isn’t it true that we learn best by doing things for ourselves? It’s the only way to learn, even if it means us failing at times.

We all like the idea of becoming happier and healthier, don’t we? So let’s take a close look at Geoffrey’s article listing some really good and easy ways to become happier and healthier.

My favourite recommendations are “Do it now” and “Leave a light footprint”. And yours?

 

 

Watch your language!

In a workshop not long ago, one of my participants spoke about the “chairman”. Of course, if it’s a man, it’s okay to use the word. And if it’s a woman, you would call her the “chairwoman”. If you don’t know whether the person is male or female, it might be better to use “chairperson” or just “chair”, although I don’t really like calling someone the “chair”!
