How to ride a bike in Germany
OK, it’s not really the time of year to get the bikes out of the garage or out of the cellar, is it? I don’t normally use my bike through the winter. It’s too cold! 😉 But you might like to be prepared for when it gets warmer. So why not learn all you need to know about riding a bike in Germany (link to: www.dw.com) now? Three guys, who are stranded on a desert island, find a magic lamp containing a genie, who grants them each one wish. The first guy wishes he was off the island and back home with his wife. In the air
In the past, the people who looked after us when flying were called “stewards” and “stewardesses” or “air hosts” and “air hostesses”. We now call them “flight attendants” or just the “cabin crew”.
You like a bit of grammar now and again, don’t you?
I use question tags a lot, don’t I? You’ve probably noticed that, haven’t you? I use them at the end of a statement to ask someone to agree with me, to keep a conversation going or to ask a real question.
