How You Wake Up Each Day

How You Wake Up Each Day

“How you wake up each day and your morning routine (or lack thereof) dramatically affects your levels of success in every single area of your life. Focused, productive, successful mornings generate focused, productive, successful days—which inevitably create a successful life—in the same way that unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre mornings generate unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre days, and ultimately a mediocre quality of life. By simply changing the way you wake up in the morning, you can transform any area of your life, faster than you ever thought possible.”
Hal Elrod, The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life: Before 8AM

I like to start my days with exercise. Either I’m out in the woods Nordic Walking for an hour, or I’m on my patio with my Smovey Rings and my iPad. (Here’s the guy I work out with!)

After my green smoothie, I’m ready to move to my desk! 😊

Do you have a morning routine?

You Want an Answer? Don’t Ask a Question!

You Want an Answer? Don’t Ask a Question!

You Want an Answer? Don’t Ask a Question!

Cunningham’s Law states that “the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it’s to post the wrong answer”.

It’s strange, isn’t it, how we sometimes ask a direct question and nearly nobody replies? But then if we post a wrong answer or an opposing viewpoint, people are much more likely to respond.

Is this something you have observed before? Or is it a strategy that you’ve even used yourself?

Telling the Time

Telling the Time

If I organised a meeting with you, I’d say something like, “Let’s meet at 3pm” or “Let’s meet at 3 o’clock”. I would never say “Let’s meet at 15:00 hours”!

If I suggest we meet at noon—that means 12:00pm, at the very beginning of the afternoon. Or at midnight,—that means 12:00am, at the beginning of a new day!

We don’t use the  24-hour clock format in everyday conversation, but you’ll see it at train stations and airports—and of course, on digital clocks!

Become an Inspiration

“Let your life mean something. Become an inspiration to others so that they may try to do more and to become more than they are today.”
Thomas D. Willhite

If anyone has ever inspired you to change your life in a positive way, you will fully understand the difference that inspiration can make on someone’s life.

Are you doing your part to inspire others with the passion for succeeding?

Just a little food for thought! 😉
