If you live in Germany, you’ll probably be going to at least one Christmas market. Most of the larger cities and some smaller towns have them.
You probably know that a lot of visitors come over to Germany just to visit these markets during the festive season. Perhaps the most well-known are Nuremberg’s Christkindlmarkt and the Striezelmarkt in Dresden.
But did you realise that you’ll find German Christmas markets in a lot of Britain’s major towns and cities – with German-style chalet stalls offering traditional German delicacies such as bratwurst, gingerbread and gluhwein?
