Ending an email

We’ve spoken about ways of ending email messages before. I sometimes use “Take care” if I know the person fairly well. Or even “Take care of yourself”.

And, if it fits, you might like to try: “To your success”.

The Chinese and beer

I’m not a beer lover myself, so I can’t understand why British beer is so popular in China.

Apparently, the Chinese drink about 55 billion litres a year. According to this BBC article, there’s a “passion and curiosity for drinkable symbols of British tradition”.

Germany is famous for its beer. I wonder what the Chinese think about beer from German brewers? Any idea?

Another tongue twister

Try and get your tongue around this one here …

“How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood
As a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood.”

Now that’s quite a mouthful, isn’t it?
