When pronouncing the word “February”, remember not to drop the first ‘r’.

A few weeks ago we spoke about the difference between pudding and dessert, as seen by a British expert. For John G. Robertson, who grew up in North America, dessert is the sweet course that comes after the main meal. Pudding is something like bread and butter pudding or something soft and custardy. In this article, he writes that when he moved to England he learned that one holds the fork in one’s left hand with the tines facing down. That’s what I learned, too! 😉
