China Daily shows us pictures of an artist who takes paint in through his nose and squirts it out through his eyes onto a canvas. If you decide to try out this technique, I’d love to see the results! 😉
Wow, I didn’t realise that there were other artists who used body fluids in their work. I’ve just found this article in Wikipedia which I wanted to share with you. Okay, I knew that Andy Warhol used urine. But elephant dung, blood and vomit …

A passerby noticed a couple of city workers working along the city pavements. The man was quite impressed with their hard work, but he couldn’t understand what they were doing.
Finally, he approached the workers and asked, “I appreciate how hard you’re both working, but what the heck are you doing? I see that one of you digs a hole, and then the other guy immediately fills it back up again.
One of the city workers explained, “The third guy who plants the trees is off sick today.”

If you focus on writing shorter sentences – of about 15 – 20 words, you’ll make it easier for your reader to understand. And you’ll make it easier for yourself, too. You’ll probably make fewer mistakes! 😉
In his book “Several short sentences about writing“, Verlyn Kllinkenborn writes that short sentences are not childish. And that you can say “smart, interesting, complicated things using short sentences”.
Why not practise removing every unnecessary word when you write your next emails? I’m sure your reader will thank you.
