I Am Not Ashamed

Let’s talk about the things we’ve learnt to embrace—the ones we used to feel awkward or ashamed of.

Here’s mine:

Yesterday, I had to Google an English grammar rule. Yes—me. A qualified English trainer.

Was I embarrassed? Not one bit.
Because honestly?

– I’ve made all sorts of mistakes while learning languages.

– I’ve forgotten words mid-sentence, panicked during presentations, and blanked completely in front of a crowd.

– I’ve second-guessed my grammar and overthought simple sentences.

And yes—some days, even I just don’t feel like speaking English.

But here’s what I’ve learnt:
None of that makes me a bad trainer. It just makes me human.

Confidence doesn’t come from knowing everything.

It comes from showing up anyway. From trying, tripping, laughing, and trying again.

When clients tell me how much more confident they feel after working with me, I know I’ve done something right—not because I’m perfect, but because I get it. I’ve lived it.

Now it’s your turn.

What’s one thing you’ve learnt to embrace instead of hiding away?
