Stop Struggling – English is YOUR Language Too!
I’ve been working with German-speaking professionals for 25 years, and I understand their unique challenges and frustration. They worry about grammar, tenses and sounding “perfect.”
But here’s the truth: native speakers do not own English. It belongs to you, too.
Most business conversations in English happen between non-native speakers. No one cares if you make a small grammar mistake or mix up prepositions. What matters is communication. Can the other person understand you? Can you explain your ideas clearly? That’s what really counts.
The real problem? Many schools teach English as if native speakers are the goal. But in international business, native-like fluency is not the key to success—confidence is.
So stop overthinking. Stop aiming for perfection. Start speaking. If needed, adjust your words. Listen and improve as you go. English is a tool—not a test. And you already know enough to use it well. Own it.
