Words of wisdom
“Always write angry letters to your enemies but never mail them.”
James Fallows
What a nice idea. But I don’t have any enemies! 🙂
I cross my fingers and you?
In Germany, people press their thumbs as a sign of wishing someone good luck. In England we ‘cross our fingers’ or ‘keep our fingers crossed’. Sometimes we ‘twiddle our thumbs’, but that’s only if we don’t know what to do next! 😉

How strong is your vocabulary?
Do the Merriam-Webster vocabulary test online and find out just how strong your vocabulary is.
You’re not happy with the results? Try learning five words a day on a regular basis. My motto? Practice won’t make you perfect, but it will make you better. 😉
