I’d like to share an article with video clip (link to: forbes.com) with you today explaining why the 8-hour workday is outdated and doesn’t work. It might have been relevant years ago, but it’s no longer relevant today. If we want to be as productive as possible, we need to structure our day differently.
According to a recent study, the ideal work-to-break ratio is 52 minutes of work, followed by 17 minutes of rest. The idea is to focus completely on the task at hand and then to take a real break. To get away from your computer and your phone. To go out for a walk, read or chat to a colleague.

Do we have “Wackeldackel” in Britain? I have absolutely no idea. Of course, I know them here in Germany although, I must confess, I haven’t seen them for years. They’re those dachshund toys, often placed in the back of cars, with heads that wobble.
