Cut more wordy phrases


Do you remember that we’ve already spoken about this before? Your writing will be much clearer if you cut the wordy phrases and use just one word.

Instead of …                                       write …
I would appreciate it if you would          please
with reference / regard to                     for or about or concerning
with the exception of                             except

It’s so easy when you know how! 😉
