Diary versus Calendar
You might know the word diary meaning a book in which one keeps a daily record of events and experiences.
However, I used to make a note of my appointments and events in a paper diary. I later switched to using the calendar on my iPad, which is now synced to my iMac.
But I also have a calendar on my desk, letting me know what day it is and with a quotation for each day.
If I want to schedule an appointment with you, I might ask you, “What does your diary say?” or “What does your calendar say?”
So what works best for you? Do you prefer a paperless or a good old-fashioned paper diary?
