Don’t Worry About Sounding “Too German”

“I’m afraid I sound too German.”

My client whispered this yesterday before her presentation.

Being clear isn’t a problem.
Being direct isn’t rude.
Having an accent doesn’t make you less professional.

You don’t need to sound British or American. You need to be understood, respected and confident.

Yes, sometimes a softer tone helps in certain cultures.

But your focused communication style? It’s a strength – not a flaw.

English belongs to everyone who speaks it. There’s room for your voice – exactly as it is.
