If you want to belong to the upper class in Britain, you have to know how to dress, according to British etiquette expert, William Hanson.

Here are some of the rules:

  • Don’t wear brown shoes in cities.
  • The end of your shoes must be round.
  • Shoelaces should be in neat, straight lines.
  • With a two-button jacket, you only button the top button. With a three-button jacket, you button the middle one.
  • Jackets must be worn all evening.
