Give up TV and change your brain

Can giving up TV change our brains and our lives? According to this article (link to: fastcompany.com) it can.

Eric Braverman, founder and president of a nonprofit research organisation devoted to brain health, says that television “mesmerizes people and turns them into intellectual spectators. It feeds passivity and makes you less engaged.”

How much television should one watch? Braverman’s formula: “Never watch more television than the amount of time you exercise.”
