Improve your mood

by Christine Burgmer | Apr 4, 2014 | Allgemein | 2 comments

If you experience mood swings, particularly on a Monday morning, then Rebekah Fensome’s finger-clicking technique might be something for you.

I’ve no idea whether it works, but I liked the sound of turning one’s mood around at the click of a finger!

Can I play a smartass here a bit?:) This is anchoring a particular state through clicking fingures. Basically, any state at its peak can be anchored, we all experienced that – just think of a particular song or particular smell that immediatly brings certain feelings or even memories, because that song or that smell was strongly associated with this feeling some time ago. We unconsciously anchor many states, and the technique described above is the same, but done consciously. Lovely thing:)

Exactly, Olga. I learned a similar anchoring technique at an NLP workshop years ago. It’s just a matter of remembering to use it! πŸ˜‰
