J … is for Jingle Bells and Joyeux Noel

Jingle bells“Jingle bells” is probably one of the best-known and commonly sung Christmas songs in the world. I’m sure you know it. It starts like this:

“Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go
Laughing all the way”

jingle bell is a type of bell which produces a ‘jingle’ sound (see photo above). They are often used in Christmas decorations or as Christmas ornaments.
