Not Sure What to Write in Holiday Cards? Here’s Some Inspiration!

The holidays are the perfect time to spread some cheer. But let’s face it—sometimes figuring out what to write in your holiday cards can be a challenge.

You want your message to feel personal and meaningful, but you’re not sure where to start.

Let’s look at a few ideas:

For Friends & Family – Keep it warm and personal. A simple “Wishing you a wonderful holiday season filled with love and laughter” works wonders. Or, add a little bit of humour: “May your Christmas be filled with lots of laughter, good food—and not too many glasses of eggnog.

For Business Contacts – Keep it professional, but still thoughtful. “Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year. Looking forward to working with you again in the new year” strikes the right balance.

For a General Greeting – If you’re not sure who will read it, write something simple and inclusive like “Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season” will do the trick.

A heartfelt message will always make a difference.

What’s your go-to holiday message? Do you keep it funny, heartfelt or simple?
