Read how German vehicle-maker Daimler (link to: www.bbc.com) manages email when people are away on holiday. If you email a Daimler employee, you might be surprised to get the following message:
“I am on vacation. I cannot read your email. Your email is being deleted. Please contact Hans or Monika if it’s really important, or resend the email after I’m back in the office. Danke Schoen.”
I love this approach and think that more companies might adopt it one day. Do you?
