BakingI read that the Yule log was a large and very hard log (a big piece of wood) which was burned at Christmas.  That was new to me. I know the Yule log  as a traditional cake roll, covered in chocolate icing and decorated with sugared holly leaves.

I know that it’s too late to make it for Christmas this year, but if you don’t have anything better to do, you could make it for Boxing Day tomorrow! Try this recipe I found on the website.
