You’re overthinking English tenses? Most people do.

Most German speakers learn all the tenses but use maybe four.
Good news: that’s enough. 

You only need five core tenses for 95% of everyday business English:

1️⃣ Present Simple – I work in Berlin.
2️⃣ Present Continuous – I’m working on a new project.
3️⃣ Past Simple – I finished the report yesterday.
4️⃣ Present Perfect – I’ve already sent the offer.
5️⃣ Future (will / going to) – I’ll call you tomorrow / I’m going to visit the client next week.

That’s it. Everything else is grammar decoration.
