A Question to Ask Yourself

A Question to Ask Yourself

A Question to Ask Yourself

We often do things out of habit. Without thinking.

According to author and entrepreneur James Clear, it can help to pause now and again, and to ask ourselves:

“Does this activity fill me with energy or drain me of energy?”

This question helped me change a habit. Perhaps it can help you, too.

Diary versus Calendar

Diary versus Calendar

Diary versus Calendar

You might know the word diary meaning a book in which one keeps a daily record of events and experiences.

However, I used to make a note of my appointments and events in a paper diary. I later switched to using the calendar on my iPad, which is now synced to my iMac.

But I also have a calendar on my desk, letting me know what day it is and with a quotation for each day.

If I want to schedule an appointment with you, I might ask you, “What does your diary say?” or “What does your calendar say?”

So what works best for you? Do you prefer a paperless or a good old-fashioned paper diary?

The Power of Togetherness

The Power of Togetherness

The Power of Togetherness

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
Helen Keller

When we pool our resources, ideas and creative energy, we can achieve more than ever imagined.

This quotation reminds me of my rock climbing days.

Rock climbing wasn’t an activity I enjoyed, but my family wanted me to go along with them.

And it taught me an important lesson.

Without the support of others, I would never have reached the top of those rocks!

What does the quotation remind you of?
