Are you planning a New Year’s Eve party and haven’t been able to give it much thought because of Christmas? Marieclaire.com might inspire you.
What about organising a last-minute Black and White party or a Glitter party or a Black Light party or a Mini Everything party? My favourite is the Midnight in Paris party. However, I’ll probably be enjoying a quiet New Year’s Eve – with good food, good company and a good film. Something light and not too serious. Not for the last day of the year!

PS Do have a happy Christmas. Our family will be getting together today for its traditional fondue. We won’t be going to bed too late today, because we don’t want to disturb Father Christmas. But I’ll be back tomorrow!
