Ich bin Christine Burgmer, britische Kommunikationstrainerin, seit 25 Jahren in Deutschland. Im Alltag arbeite ich mit Fach- und Führungskräften im 1:1 Englisch Training. Im Februar 2026 hat mich die EULETA, die European Legal English Teachers‘ Association, als externe Referentin eingeladen. Meine These an dem Abend: Wer erwachsene Fach- und Führungskräfte unterrichtet, korrigiert zu viel und coacht zu wenig. Verständlichkeit trägt weiter als Fehlerfreiheit. Fehler sind Daten.
Es war mein erster Online-Vortrag. Was danach kam, hatte ich nicht eingeplant: Kolleg:innen haben öffentlich darüber geschrieben, ohne dass ich darum gebeten hätte.
