Both words can describe something enjoyable, but they don’t mean quite the same thing.

Fun = enjoyable
„We had a lot of fun at the conference.“

Funny = amusing or strange
„She told us a funny story.“
„That’s funny. I thought the meeting started at nine.“

💡 Quick tip:
Something can be fun without being funny.
And something funny isn’t necessarily fun!
