Do What Makes You Happy

Do What Makes You Happy

Do What Makes You Happy

Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy!
Paulo Coelho

When we do things that make us happy, we feel more positive, energetic and confident.

And we’re more likely to be kind, compassionate and friendly towards others.

Five questions we might ask ourselves

    1. What makes us happy?
    2. Are we doing something that makes us unhappy? What can we change to improve the situation?
    3. What challenges might we face in pursuing our happiness?
    4. What changes can we make in our lives to increase our overall happiness?
    5. Are there any negative beliefs that are holding us back from pursuing happiness?

Questions like these are not easy to answer. But by exploring them, we can gain valuable insights into our own experiences of happiness.

    The shortcut

Vicki Baum said, “There are shortcuts to happiness – and dancing is one of them”.

It might be well worth trying! smile

This Anger Assessment Quiz can help you understand how you deal with your anger. And how you might better use anger in a positive way to improve your life and relationships.

It’s like a map that can guide you towards a better way of handling your emotions.

You might be thinking, “Why are you posting a quiz like this, Christine?”

You’ve probably guessed by now that I like the idea of accomplishing two tasks with a single action.

While you’re finding out something about yourself, you’re also improving your English reading skills (and might learn a new word here and there).

To use the old (but violent) proverb: it’s like killing two birds with one stone.

    Videos To Spark Your Curiosity

TED-Ed has tons of short video lessons on a wide range of topics.

You can watch anything from “Why women’s clothing sizes don’t make sense” to “Are you a giver or taker“.

I was interested in learning “Why do airlines sell too many tickets?”  after having been denied boarding some years ago due to a lack of space on a plane to Malta.
